A music storefront and a numbered NFT release offer different ways to support an artist. Start with what you want a listener to receive, how they will access it and what you are prepared to maintain after release.

SentX and Bandcamp

Bandcamp provides artist storefronts for digital music and merchandise. SentX's music workflow uses numbered album copies represented by NFTs on Hedera, with public and ownership-gated tracks.

These routes can serve different parts of an audience. Check your existing release agreements before using more than one service for the same recordings.

Check the status of older recommendations

Some older music-NFT comparisons describe platforms that are no longer operating in the same way. As checked on September 11, 2026, Sound.xyz says its service went offline on January 16, 2026, and Catalog states that it is no longer active.

Use their current official notices for existing-release information. Do not plan a new launch from an old comparison chart or historical fee table.

Questions to answer before choosing

Can your intended listeners complete the purchase? Is it clear what they can play or download? What costs apply before and after release? What happens to access when a token is transferred? Which files and records will you keep yourself?

Compare those answers for your actual release. A platform name alone does not establish income, reach or permanent availability.
