Hedera NFT holder snapshot

To snapshot Hedera NFT holders, enter the collection's token ID and SentX lists every serial and the account holding it at that moment, with the spender each owner has approved. Download the list as a CSV. It reads the public Hedera mirror node, so it is free and needs no wallet or signup.

Questions

How do I take a snapshot of Hedera NFT holders?

It takes four steps on this page, with no wallet.

  1. Enter the collection's token ID, which looks like 0.0.1234567, in NFT Token Address.
  2. Tick Fetch metadata if you also want each NFT's name, image and attributes. It is slower.
  3. Select Take Snapshot and wait for Snapshot complete.
  4. Select Download CSV. The file has one row per serial with the columns Serial, Owner, Spender, Name, Image and Attributes. The last three are empty unless you ticked Fetch metadata.

Do I need a wallet or an account?

No. The snapshot reads public data from the Hedera mirror node in your browser, so all you need is the token ID. It is free.

Does a wallet that holds several NFTs appear once?

No. The list has one row per serial, so a wallet holding five NFTs from the collection appears on five rows. Group the CSV by Owner to count holders.

What is the Spender column?

The account the owner has approved to transfer that NFT, often the marketplace where it is listed. It is empty when there is no such approval.

Can I snapshot holders at a past date?

No. The snapshot records who holds each NFT at the moment you run it, so run it at the time your airdrop or allowlist rule names. Burned NFTs are left out.
