A listing is an owner's asking price. An offer proposes a price to an owner. An auction follows the bidding and completion rules shown for that event. Read which action you are taking before confirming the request presented by SentX and your connected wallet.

When a buy-now listing fits

Use a listed NFT when you have chosen the exact serial and are comfortable with the asking price. The Buy now action buys that serial at the amount shown with the listing. Follow the confirmations presented by SentX and your connected wallet, then check ownership when the transaction succeeds.

A listing can change while you are looking at it. Refresh its current state before starting if the page has been open for a while.

When an offer fits

An offer lets you propose terms instead of purchasing at the asking price. Read its duration and the permissions involved. Making an offer does not make you the NFT owner; ownership changes only after a successful transfer.

If you no longer want an outstanding offer, use its management controls and verify the resulting state. Do not assume closing the browser withdraws it.

Why a collection offer needs another check

A collection offer can apply beyond the single artwork you first noticed. Read the eligible set and any quantity or trait restrictions shown. Decide whether you would be happy receiving any NFT that meets those terms.

For sellers, compare the offer with the exact serial you would supply. Two NFTs from one collection can have different traits and different demand.

Before bidding

Read the auction's end time and the steps required after it ends. Check what happens to committed funds and what the winning bidder must do. Use the rules visible on that auction; another marketplace's process is not a reliable guide.

An auction bid is not the same as pressing Buy now on a listing. If you want an immediate purchase, look for the listing action described in the buyer guide.

Keep track of open commitments

Review your active offers and bids when your balance or plans change. Save transaction references for actions that have been submitted. For an uncertain result, inspect the original operation before making another commitment.
