Sell a Hedera NFT on SentX

List a Hedera NFT you own on SentX. Check the serial, price, payment token and approval scope, then verify the listing in the marketplace.

To sell an NFT you own, find it in My NFTs and create a listing. Review the price, payment token and approval scope before signing. When the listing is active, buyers can find that serial in the marketplace.

What you need

Use the wallet account that owns the NFT. Keep HBAR available for the network fees shown during the operation. Decide on the asking price and which payment token the listing uses.

Step 1: Find the right serial

Open My NFTs and locate the collection. Check the token ID and serial number, especially if you own several copies with similar artwork.

Open the listing action for that NFT. Start with one serial so you can review the complete process before using a bulk action.

Find the collection and serial in the account that owns them.

Result

  • You should now see the NFT you selected in the listing dialog.

Step 2: Set the price

Enter the Price and check the payment token shown with it. Read the fee information in the dialog and confirm the amount you want a buyer to pay.

An asking price is your offer to sell. It is not a valuation, and a listing does not guarantee a buyer. Compare completed sales as well as other asking prices if you want context.

Result

  • You should now see the intended price and payment token beside the correct NFT.

Step 3: Choose the approval scope

Read the permission requested for the sale. When the listing flow offers these options, Approve this NFT only limits the NFT approval to that serial. Approve the whole collection applies to current and future NFTs you hold from that token collection until revoked.

Choose the scope that matches what you intend to authorize. Check the request and its approval scope before confirming it in the flow presented by SentX and your connected wallet.

An NFT allowance is different from token association. Association allows your account to receive a token type. An allowance authorizes a spender to act within the approved scope.

Step 4: Check the listing

After the operation confirms, open the NFT in the marketplace. Check the serial, price and payment token again. My NFTs should also reflect its listed state after the view updates.

Keep the operation or transaction reference until you have checked the result.

Changing your mind

Use the listing controls in My NFTs to change or remove the listing. Removing a listing and revoking a wallet allowance are different actions. Check the allowance separately if you also want to remove a spender's permission.

If the page stops updating

Check the existing operation before submitting another listing. A closed wallet window or a timeout does not tell you whether the request was processed.

If My NFTs and the marketplace disagree, refresh after checking the transaction result. Send SentX support the token ID, serial and operation reference if the state remains unclear.
