Buy your first Hedera NFT with HBAR

Connect a Hedera wallet, choose a listed NFT on SentX, approve the purchase in your wallet and find the NFT in your account. Four steps with screenshots.

What you need

  • A connected Hedera account. Use HashPack or email login if this is your first visit.
  • Enough HBAR for the NFT price and the fees shown before approval.

Connect your wallet

Press Connect at the top right of any SentX page and pick your wallet. Approve the connection inside the wallet. The button turns into your account ID.

Connecting lets SentX show your NFTs and send requests to your wallet. The connection request itself does not buy an NFT.

You should now see

  • Your account ID and HBAR balance sit at the top right of every page.

Choose an NFT

Open Collections and pick one. The Market tab shows what is for sale. Use the price sort to compare listings. Cards show the serial number, price and available collection details.

Open a card to see the full artwork, the traits, the price history and the offers on it.

You should now see

  • The card shows a price with the HBAR symbol beside it. Offers and auction bids look different and are not a buy-now price.

Buy it

Press Buy now on the NFT page. Review the requests presented by SentX. With HashPack, read and approve the request in the wallet. With Magic email login, read SentX's confirmation before continuing; a separate wallet-app popup is not required.

Your account needs an association with the collection token to receive the NFT. Depending on your wallet and account settings, it happens automatically, within the purchase flow, or through a separate association request. Follow the requests SentX presents.

Each request shows the amount and the account it comes from. Read them, then approve.

You should now see

  • SentX shows the confirmation with the transaction ID.
  • The NFT page now lists you as the owner.

Find it in your account

Open My NFTs. Your new NFT is in the list, grouped under its collection. From here you can list it for sale, send it to another account or just look at it.

Your wallet shows the same NFT under its own NFT tab. Both read the same Hedera ledger.

You should now see

  • The serial you bought shows under the collection name in My NFTs.

If something looks stuck

  • The wallet closed: check its transaction history and My NFTs before starting another purchase. Closing the window does not cancel a request already submitted.
  • You approved but the page timed out: open My NFTs and check the transaction status in your wallet. Wait for a confirmed result before buying again; an NFT can take time to appear.
  • The NFT is no longer listed: refresh the listing. If you already approved a request, check its transaction result before choosing another NFT.
  • Still unclear: write to SentX support with the collection token ID, the serial and the transaction ID from your wallet.
