Phantom #77 - "Dust Wraiths" - The sun had been beating down mercilessly on the parched earth for weeks, turning the land into a wasteland. The only life left were the dust wraiths, creatures made of dust and sand that fed on the life force of anything they could find.
They had been stalking our group for days, picking us off one by one. We were all that was left of a large convoy that had set out across the wasteland in search of a new home. Now there were only four of us left, huddled around a small fire in what little shelter we could find.
We knew it was only a matter of time before they found us again and we would be their next meal. We didn't dare sleep, knowing that would be when they would strike. So we sat there through the long night, waiting for dawn to come and give us some respite from this nightmare
