ByteDance's Seed team launched Seedance 2.0 on February 12, 2026. It takes text, images, audio and video as input. On ByteDance's own platform one request can combine up to 9 images, 3 video clips and 3 audio clips as references.

It makes multi-shot clips of up to 15 seconds with two-channel stereo sound, and can lay background music, ambient effects and character voices on separate tracks. ByteDance points to stable motion and believable physics.
