Prepare a 3D NFT for Hedera

Prepare a 3D NFT for Hedera with a GLB file, clear preview and useful metadata. Check the model on the devices where collectors will view it.

A 3D NFT connects a token with model files and metadata that applications can interpret. GLB is one format supported in DreamForge's NFT preparation workflow. Start with a model that renders correctly before preparing the token.

Check the model itself

Open the file in a compatible viewer. Rotate it, inspect the materials and check the scale and orientation. Look for missing textures, broken surfaces and parts that appear only from one side.

If the model came from an AI tool, inspect the exported file rather than relying on the provider's preview. A convincing rendered image does not prove that the underlying geometry is useful.

Give collectors a clear preview

Choose a still image that makes the object understandable when an interactive viewer is unavailable. Use a neutral angle and enough contrast to show the shape.

Keep the preview faithful to the model. Do not use a polished concept image that shows details the delivered file does not contain.

Prepare the NFT

Add the supported media in DreamForge's Prepare & mint area. Check the name, description and preview. Explain what the file contains and any practical requirements for viewing it.

Use the metadata fields appropriate to the media. The metadata guide links the current Hedera standard for richer file descriptions.

Test before releasing the collection

Check the intended viewing experience on desktop and a phone. Large models can be slow to download and render. Simplify the deliverable when that improves the experience without removing the work's essential detail.

Wallets and marketplaces differ in how they display 3D media. A fallback image keeps the NFT recognizable, but it does not make every application an interactive 3D viewer.

Pin, mint and inspect the serial

Follow the first-collection guide to pin the files and mint. Open the resulting serial and check the delivered model and preview again.
