GRAVITY

Gravity is a natural phenomenon by which all things with mass or energy — even light — are attracted to one another. Though it is the weakest of the four interactions at the atomic scale, there is a mystery that surrounds gravity – one that has caused a rift between the theories of relativity and quantum mechanics, which remains unsolved to this day. The theorized carrier particle of the gravitational force is the graviton. After the Planck Era, in which all four known forces were unified, the GUT (Grand Unified Theory) Era occurred (all in a tiny fraction of a second after the Big Bang) in which gravity was the first force to essentially unfreeze and become distinct.
